I had no idea plane rides could be so unpredictable! It all started 3 hours before we were taking off. The airline called my Mom to let us know we would be leaving out of the Orange County instead of LAX because our original flight was late and we would miss our connection in Atlanta. My parents were running around to get us down there and I think morning traffic made Mom quite nervous, but Dad got us there right on time. Mom didn't let me enjoy any of the Atlanta airport because we were late for our connecting flight and barely made it onboard! On that flight, they gave me a bassinet hooked up to the wall so I could play and rest in it when my Mom needed a break from holding me. A nice lady gave me a stuffed animal to play with and everyone wanted to play and hold me.
It was just perfect because we got re-routed to JFK for an emergency landing after a lady in front of me started not feeling well and needed to get medical care. So while we were stuck on the tarmac, lots of people came to say hello and play with me, I got lots of compliments because I was so quiet. What was I gonna do? Scream in their faces when they came to play with me is not nice, smiling and showing off my teeth is much more fun!
We finally made it to Zurich a few hours late and my brother and Annelise were there to pick us up. Flying isn't too bad, but I was glad to have arrived.
On ne m'avait pas dit que prendre l'avion serait tout une experience. On a tout d'abord du changer d'aeroport car notre vol d'origine etait en retard et nous allions manquer notre vol a Atlanta. Il a fallu se depecher de partir et les bouchons du matin on rendu Maman bien nerveuse, mais Papa nous a deposer juste a temps. On a du courir a Atlanta pour chopper notre avion et une fois parties, ils m'ont installer un petit lit au mur pour que je puisse jouer et me reposer au cas au maman devenait fatiguee de me tenir. Apres une heure de vol, on a du atterir d'urgence a New York car une dame devant nous avait des problemes de coeur et a du desembarquer. Pendant que nous etions au sol, j'ai fait connaissance de plein de monde qui etait tres surpris que je sois si calme. J'allais quand meme pas leur crier a la tete quand ils viennent si gentillement me dire bonjour!
Nous somme finallement arrive a Zurich et mon oncle et Annelise, la super copine a Maman, sont venu nous chercher, j'etais contente d'arriver!
